Owner of these pages is Jan, born in 1957. Today (from 6th december 2001) I'm separated from Anne Grete, born 1960. We have a son, Inge, born 1986. I live in Ganddal in Sandnes, Rogaland, at the Southwest Coast of Norway.

We have gone Island Strolling since 1982. Not every summer, but quite a lot of times. From 1991 to 2001 we have all been travelling to Greece every year, most of the years 2 trip a year. Many trips we’ve been travelling with friends. We’ve even been travelling with our neighbours. It works really well, the children have playmates and the adults have friends to share all the experiences with. We warmly recommend travelling several families together.

The Bergtun family of that time, summer 1996

Usually we go to Athens with airliner at the beginning of the Norwegian summer vacation. We try to visit 1 new island each year. We also go to Antiparos each summer to visit and rent rooms from Yannis, Christina and Maria, eat at Taverna 5F and visit all our other friends at the island.

We’re getting more and more fond of Greece and the Greek. These holidays really mean a lot to us and we want other people experience the same. That’s why I have made this homepage. If you have any comments to the pages or if you have any questions, write me an E-mail. We’ll try and help as much as possible.
